Hello, I’m Julia

I’ve always loved movement. As a child, I loved writing fiction stories for friends, printing them out, and bringing them to school for us to read together. As kid, the water was my second home…

A lifelong city kid, I went on my first international trip at eighteen to Greece, where I woke up every morning and swam from one beach to the next and ran back home. I got the travel bug right away.

I’ve visited 5 continents and nearly 40 countries. I’ve hiked solo in Iceland, dove with manta rays on an island off Sumatra, and hiked to 17,769 feet in Nepal. I’ve lived abroad in Nepal, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. I road tripped across the United States, where I drove 4,000 miles solo.
