  • The Traumatic Travel Project

Are you a badass woman with a travel story to share?

I’ve met women on the road with amazing stories — building out vans on their own, teaching scuba in a different country every few months, hiking and backpacking solo, and road tripping across the US.

Yet when I look at a lot of the travel content out there, I don’t see these stories represented. Instead, much of it is about group tours and polished itineraries, or scare stories of what safety issues women may encounter on the road.

Through collecting the stories of independent, adventurous women, The Traumatic Travel Project seeks to amplify diverse voices and highlight the experiences of women in the wild.

If you're a woman who’s traveled solo, loves unconventional travel, or has a funny #traumatictravel story, I'd love to hear from you.

30-minute conversational interviews will take place over Zoom.
